This year marks a decade of transformative funding from the Health Research Board (HRB), a milestone that we are honored to celebrate. To celebrate this journey, we have created two videos that showcase the achievements, collaborations, and people who have made this journey impactful.
Since 2014, the HRB-Trials Methodology Research Network (HRB-TMRN) has achieved incredible milestones:
- Published over 175 Research Publications.
- Trained over 53,000 people in trials methodology and trial essentials.
- Supported 18 researchers across 24 projects, tackling challenges like recruitment, novel trial designs, and inclusivity in trials.
- Inspired global organisations to adopt our SWAT seed-grant funding model.
- Engaged 1,300 primary school students through the START Competition, enabling classrooms to design and report 65 child-led clinical trials.
- United over 3,000 members of the public across 72 countries in “The People’s Trial,” answering the question: “Does reading a book in bed make a difference in sleep?”
These accomplishments reflect the HRB’s dedication to advancing research methodology, fostering innovation, and supporting a vibrant community of researchers, trialists, and the public.
