Just announced! – Introduction to Clinical Trials – Study Day 17th April

Registration for the HRB-TMRN’s next Study Day is now open. The Introduction to Clinical Trials 1-day event will take place on the 17th April in NUI Galway in conjunction with the Clinical Research Facility Galway. This event will see speakers discuss key areas essential to understanding the planning, conduct, delivery and reporting of clinical trials in Ireland. A sample of the topics will include; Sources of bias in randomised trials, Methods of randomisation, Sample size calculations in randomised trials, Core outcomes within trials, Common statistical pitfalls and how to avoid them, Economic evaluation alongside trials.
