Background & aim:

Independent data monitoring committees (IDMCs) are an important part of many clinical trials. This online series aims to give insight into how IDMCs work, who should sit on them, how to present to them and the decisions they make. We welcome those involved in any part of the IDMC process including clinicians, statisticians and trial coordinators/managers. The series will be led by Sharon Love and Elizabeth George who have extensive experience setting up, reporting to and sitting on multiple IDMCs.
