Network Meta-analysis for Complex Interventions in Health (WEBINAR)

Dr Chris Noone is a post-doctoral researcher at the School of Psychology, NUI Galway and his current position involves the application of network meta-analysis to estimate the comparative effectiveness of behavioural and pharmacological approaches to reducing blood pressure in people with hypertension. This work is funded by an IRC New Horizons grant which was awarded to Dr Gerry Molloy and Prof John Newell NUI Galway.

Ms Joy Leahy is a PhD student in Trinity College Dublin. Her research interests include Bayesian methods for evidence synthesis and Network Meta-Analysis (NMA), with particular focus on the appropriate use of lesser quality evidence. Joy has worked on applications of these methods to disease networks such as Hepatitis C, melanoma and multiple myeloma. Joy’s research is funded by the Health Research Board (PI: Prof Cathal Walsh).
